Finance Manager

The organisation

A UAE real estate developer with projects on site in Dubai. The finance team sits close to delivery, so this is not a reporting-only seat. The person in it will own monthly close, project cost control and the pack that goes to shareholders.

The work

• Run monthly close, management accounts and the board pack to a fixed calendar.
• Own project cost control: original budget, variations, cash flow and remaining cost to complete.
• Work with commercial, procurement and project teams so numbers match what is happening on site.
• Support banking, collections and covenant reporting.
• Build the two or three people who report into the role.

Who we are looking for

• UAE National.
• Qualified accountant, or equivalent, with real estate or contracting experience in the UAE.
• Comfortable in front of owners and lenders, not only in a spreadsheet.
• Used to holding a small team and a close calendar.

What is on offer

Permanent role, AED 35,000 to 45,000. A seat that sees every live project, with a path to Head of Finance as the pipeline grows.
